Air Force Colonel, 81, of Tampa, OBITUARIES ANTHONY, Annie Crusoe, of Clearwater, and a native of Key West, went home to be with the Lord August 6, 2010. She was the daughter of the late Hilary and Rose Crusoe. Annie graduated from the Convent of Mary Immaculate in Key West. of Fernandina Beach, passed away Sunday, August 8, 2010. He was born January 29, 1960, in Tampa to Jackie and Richard Miller. Richard was the grandson of Ruby and Charles Bartlett and great-grandson of Fred Miller of Illinois. Both his grandfather and great-grandfather were prominent Tampa physicians. Richard's early education included schools in Florida, Virginia and Illinois where he graduated from Highland Park High School.

He attended Clemson University earning a Bachelorof Science degree in clinical psychology and later attended Western Kentucky for graduate study. He had worked professionalty with Outward Bound and Sutton Place in Fernandina Beach and was a member of St. Michael's Catholic Church. Richard was a loving and caring person toward people he could help and will be missed by family and friends. He was preceded in death by both his parents.

Mr. Miller leaves behind his son, Remington Miller of Haines City, a maternal aunt, Betty Baughman (Jim); and cousin, Robert Baughman all of Jacksonville, Fla. John was an ardent golfer, musician and horticulturist. He was a command pilot in the U.S. Air Force and retired from the military, having served in World War II, Korea and Vietnam. He was also retired from the City of Tampa.

He was a member of the Order of Daedalians, MacDill Officers Club, Loyal order of Moose, Lodge 912, the Theta Chi Fraternity and The American Legion, East Liverpool, Ohio. Along with her husband, she is survived by her son, David of Temple Terrace and his daughters, Jennifer, Amanda and Tiffany, and their mother, Susan; son, Douglas and his wife, Kala, of Palm Bay and their daughters, Megan and Lauren; daughter, Reenee Weyand and husband, Scott Young, of Brandon, and her sons, Michael and Andrew, and daughter Jaime Weyand; and son, Daniel and his wife, Michelle, of Palm Bay and their sons, Adam and Alex. She also is survived by her sister, Betty Rittelman of Tampa, and brother, James R. Rea of Lynchburg, Va. Fran grew up in the Ohio River town of Baden, Pa.

She played the flute in the school band and was the valedictorian of the 1945 Ambridge High School class. Fran was a scholarship graduate of Carnegie Tech, now Carnegie Mellon University, in 1950. At Tech, she was a member of Mortar Board national honor society and Delta Gamma social sorority. Later Fran helped secure a Mortar Board chapter at Kent State University. Fran sang in her high school and college glee clubs and also in her Methodist Church choirs in Baden, Mansfield and Kent, Ohio, and Temple Terrace, the latter for more than 25 years.

Memorial services will take place at 11 a.m. Saturday, August 14, at the Temple Terrace United Methodist Church. Internment will be at Florida National Cemetery iti Bushnell.
